Jack Tsui, Chairman of The Clarence T. C. Ching Foundation, announced that Tertia Freas, CPA will serve as the Foundation’s Executive Director, effective January 12, 2015. Ms. Freas was previously a partner with Deloitte & Touche LLP in Honolulu for 35 years, and was the first woman to be an audit partner for the Honolulu Office.
R. Stevens Gilley, President of the Foundation, is retiring from his position and will assist with the transition until February 1, 2015. Mr. Gilley has been with the Foundation since 2005, when he was tasked with the job of selling Kukui Gardens and establishing the Foundation offices in 2008.
