The American Cancer Society Hawaii Pacific has received $3.5 million from The Clarence T. C. Ching Foundation to build a “Hope Lodge” in Honolulu, the largest donation the local chapter has ever received.

The money will help build a lodging facility that gives patients and their caregivers a free, temporary place to stay while they are undergoing cancer treatments.
